Dr Sarkar's current role and experience are Consultant Interventional Cardiologist performing coronary intervention and pacing, An Interest in Adult Congenital Heart Disease – providing both outpatient and inpatient care along with Dr Luisa Chicote-Hughes, Senior Lecturer for Plymouth University Peninsula School of Medicine and Dentistry (PU PSMD), Lead for Clinical Cardiology training, Training Programme Director for Cardiology for the Peninsula Deanery and Representative on the Royal College of Physicians Specialist Advisory Committee (SAC) for Cardiology training.
